Как работает система активной подвески (Active Body Control)?
Система активной подвески (Active Body Control — ABC) была разработана компанией Mercedes-Benz в попытке объединить активную безопасность и управляемость с комфортом во время езды. Используя ряд гидравлических сервоприводов высокого давления, множество датчиков и высокопроизводительных микропроцессоров, система активной подвески адаптирует подвеску и демпфирующие настройки для различных дорожных ситуаций.
Управляемые компьютером гидравлические сервоприводы установлены в пружинных стойках в спиральных пружинах и используются для разработки дополнительной мощности, которая действует на подвеску и демпфированик, контролируя движение корпуса автомобиля по горизонтальной плоскости. Также предназначенная для устранения вибрации машины в диапазоне частотой до 5 Гц (5 амплитуд в секунду) — видом колебаний, которые обычно вызвываются неровной дорогой, торможением и поворотаами, ABC сводит к минимуму её.
Инженеры Mercedes-Benz использовали пассивные ударные поглотители давления газа и пружины, которые могут быть адаптированы к дороге в режиме реального времени и обеспечить хорошее качество езды независимо от дорожных условий. В своём последнем поколении на моделях S, CL и SL-Klass, система активной подвески практически исключает крены кузова при ускорении, торможении или прохождении поворотов. Как и большинство систем активной подвески в настоящее время, Active Body Control имеет различные предустановленные настройки, которые могут быть выбраны водителем всего лишь щелчком переключателя.
